Biden campaign sends local message for AAPI to the national stage.

In the fall of 2020, during the madness and tension of the race for President, one of the Biden/Harris campaign’s communication people reached out to Table of Content for help. They wanted to create a spot that targeted Asian Americans, despite the fact that the population only represented 7 percent of America. At the time, no presidential campaign had ever exclusively targeted the Asian American population in an ad. It was a rare opportunity at a time when the then sitting president was daily referring to Covid-19 as the “China virus”, and racial tensions were on the rise. We had no money and very little time. And we were thrilled and honored every moment of the process. While the spot was only scheduled to run in local markets, due to the overwhelmingly positive response from within the campaign, the spot was elevated to run nationally.
